Valtio tukemaan sinkkujen pariutumista

Edesmennyt kansanedustaja runoilija Tommy Tabermann teki keväällä 2008 lakialoitteen rakkauslomasta. Tabermannin esitys kiteytyi ajatukseen "ihminen tarvitsee ihmistä". Lakialoitteen takana loisti usko rakkauden kaikkivoipaisuuteen, ihmistä rakentavana ja hyvinvointia lisäävänä voimana. Tabermannin sanoin: "Mitä enemmän rakkautta saamme, sitä parempaa elämämme on."

Eikö ansiokeskeisessä yhteiskunnassa olisi perusteltua herätellä keskustelua myös rakkauden huono-osaisista.? Suomen yli miljoonasta yksinasuvasta ihmisestä merkittävä osa elää kasvavien elinkustannusten, kalliin asumisen ja sosiaalisten paineiden lisäksi vakavassa rakkaudettomuuden tilassa.

Tabermanin ehdottaman pariskuntien rakkausloman ohella yhteiskunta voisi kannustaa sinkkuja rakkauden pariin. Jokainen sinkku saisi räätälöidä lemmenlomansa palvelemaan omaa elämäntilannettaan. Loman voisi käyttää aktiiviseen seuranhakuun tositarkoituksella tai lyhyemmän tähtäimen tarpeentyydytykseen. Yhtäkaikki, yhteiskuntaan syntyisi lisää rakkautta, läheisyyttä ja intohimoa. Lemmenloma olisi omiaan lisäämään onnellisuutta, vähentäen samalla masennusta ja "naamasta näkyviä puutetiloja".

Inhimillisen hyvän ohella rakkausloma-ajatus kestää myös kansantaloudellisen tarkastelun. Hyvinvoiva ja rakkauden täyttämä ihminen tekee työnsä sekä kantaa yhteiskunnallisen vastuunsa. Oletettavasti hän myös jaksaa työelämässä pidempään ja sairastaa vähemmän kuin rakkauden puutteessa riutuva kanssaihminen. Skeptikkojen marinoista huolimatta väitän, että onnellinen ihminen monistaa omaa hyvää oloaan lähipiiriinsä ja kasvattaa näin yhteistä hyvinvointipottia pelkällä läsnäolollaan.

Talouden realiteetit kertovat, että luvassa on niukkoja aikoja. Juuri tästä syystä peräänkuulutan päätöksentekoa, joka pyrkii ennakkoluulottomasti lisäämään rakkauden määrää yhteiskunnassa. Yksinäisyyden ja syrjäytymisen torjuntaan tulisi käyttää tehokkainta käytössä olevaa asetta: rakkautta.
